Joli Beau and Love Lock were founded by Nicole Berry, an acknowledged international jewellery expert.
JOLI BEAU - (from French): 'Pretty Beautiful'.
Nicole had worked in the jewellery trade for many years before opening her own boutique store in the Cotswold market town of Cirencester.
In 2009 this first incarnation of Joli Beau was a room in a high street Antique Centre and, after three years of successful trading, in order to take advantage of the large windows and idyllic cobbled street, Nicole moved the business to 12 Castle Street, Cirencester.
In both of the shops, the friendly atmosphere, the extensive range of goods and the close attention given to customer requirements, to customer satisfaction and to customer care meant that, by word of mouth, Joli Beau very quickly established itself as a Cirencester 'must visit retail location'.
Given a free hand to source and select a wide range of contemporary and vintage jewellery from all over the world, Nicole's vision and expertise has produced a platform for a unique retail environment in which the discerning buyer is certain to find that elusive item - to provide a special gift, to provide a meaningful statement or simply to provide an uplifting personal present.

THE LOVE LOCK JEWELLERY COLLECTION
The Love Lock Jewellery collection is now incorporated within Joli Beau.
In the sixteenth century a lock of hair - a 'love lock' - was worn above the heart as a display of devotion to a loved one - much like that of the love token worn by medieval knights.
The exclusive Love Lock range of jewellery is designed for those seeking, not only a significant declaration of regard, of love and of affection, but also a valuable investment.
It offers a choice of nine or eighteen carat solid gold settings with both semi-precious and precious stones and, for those lovers of pearls, beautiful pearls from the Far East.
Each piece of our carefully sourced stock has been selected by Nicole and includes work by some of today’s most artistic designers.
